President of Jamiat Ulama I Hind

There are some false allegations made by few of  Maulana Arshad Madani Sb's followers against Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind and the work it does.  They are based on lies, false rumours and hearsay.  Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind is still working hard, helping the poor, helpless, needy, orphans, widows, running Hospitals, schools, madressahs, doing relief work, helping any troubled areas etc.  Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind has been working very hard as always and it is our duty to help however we can, as we have always done in the past.  Hazrat Maulana Arshad Madani Sb is a very fine and highly respected Arabic Teacher of Darul-Uloom, Deoband. He was head of Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind, He was removed by Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind's committee and its members for not fulfilling Jamiat Ulama-I-hind duties.  Some of the followers can not  accept or respect the Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind member's decision.  Total members of Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind is 2700,(All Ulamas) of which 2000 members voted to remove Maulana Arshad Madani Sb from his post. The Decision was accepted by Hazrat Amirul-Hind Maulana Margoobur Rahman Sb, who is also Head of Darul-Uloom, Deoband.  Hence Maulana Arshad Madani Sb and some of his followers did not like this and decided to take matters to Delhi High Court, where they lost the case.  For some of  us Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, South African and UK  muslims, The Madani Name and any member of the family are highly regarded and respected, it is for us a very sad time to see all this happening.  Hazrat Maulana Arshad Madani Sb has been misguided and being misled by some of his closest friends, who are using him for their own personal gain.  Maulana Arshad Madani is naive in this matter and it is a very big shame that at this moment his judgement has been clouded.  He can not tell the difference between friend and foe.  Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind is an established Jamaat, founded by Ulamas and run by Ulamas, not any ordinary person from the street.  Jamiat Ulama-I-hind has had it's fair share of problems in the past, people have tried to rub it's good name and reputation and the good work it does through dirt but have not succeeded.  Sooner or later the hard work it does has always shone out and shut the very people up who were trying to lay obstacles in it's path.  Jamiat Ulama-I- Hind is going through changes that some of us do not like, but we must embrace these changes if we want Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind to succeed and Insha-Allah with our kind Duaas and Allah swt's blessings it will SUCCEED.  There is a small group of people who hold high positions in their local Masjids around the UK, who, out of misguided loyalty towards Maulana Arshad Madani Sb are misleading their local committees and rest of the community by feeding them one sided information. Ask these people this question that originally in the late hours of 28th Febuary 2006 & early Hours of 1st March 2006 WHY & HOW Maulana Arshad Madani Sb was made the leader of Jamiat Ulama - I - Hind?  Was he elected by the Jamiat members? or was he made the leader to avoid conflict and split within the Jamiat? That night the members were not heard, even now they are not being heard and  their decision is not being respected by Maulana Arshad Madani Sb and his followers. Should a large institute like Jamiat be able to make decisions freely or be pressurised into making a decision by one individual because of his age or status? Why is it so difficult for anyone to accept and understand the decision made by the Jamiat members. This conflict is not about uncle  v nephew, it is about what is right and what is wrong, it is about the principle.   ''Time has always and will always be a good  judge in proving right from wrong''. In the meantime, PLEASE DO NOT HURT JAMIAT ULAMA-I-HIND by responding to negative and one sided information. Before making any kind of  judgement get independent information from both sides, DO NOT go on hearsay.  Again!! we can not emphasise enough about all the hard work the Jamiat has done, is doing and Insha-Allah will carry on doing.  PLEASE REMEMBER THAT!! Humble request for the follower to respect the decision made by Hazrat Amirul-Hind Maulana Margoobur Rahman Sb and Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind Members and the Delhi High court.  Put personal feelings aside and look to the future and stop fuelling the fire of hate.
